Deconstructed Recount

WALT: Write a Deconstructed Recount
For the past few weeks, I have been writing descriptively about the holidays, and our classmates had to guess what we wrote about
Reflection:
I found it easy to... insert the pictures
I found it hard to... write the recount
Next time I could...  make it more descriptively

  1. Hello Unaiki, its Samantha. I really liked how you added pictures and used very interesting and eye catching describing words. Maybe next time you could make your sentences a little longer. What was your favourite part of the holidays?

I like your blog post about your holiday recount it’s easier to find a photo than the writing.
I think it’s nice to write a recount to share your adventure.

What's the best thing you did in the holliday’s?

  5. Kia ora Unaiki my name is Wairua a year 8 at Paihia School. I really liked your post about the Deconstructed Recount because you have put a picture with your writing. I liked it because you set your slides in a way so that I can learn more about Deconstructed recounts. I have never learnt about deconstructed recount before but it was interesting to look at you’re one. How long did it take to do your slides?

I liked your blog post about you holiday recount because I really liked how you described the ocean with a lot of nice details. I also liked your blog post because you added all of your five senses taste, sight, hear, touch and smell.
Your blog post reminded me of when I learnt about my five senses.
What was your favourite part about the beach?

Is this the first Deconstructed Recount that you have made?

  8. Hi Unaiki, my name is Poet and I am a year 6 student at Paihia School. I liked your blog post about the ‘’Deconstructed Recount’’ because all of your photos described what you were talking about and you used the five senses, which was very awesome. I also I liked the words you used to describe what it tasted like, smelt like, felt like, what you see and what you hear.
What is your favourite part about the beach?
